We recently bought a used (but well cared for) 2007 Cruiser CK. The only thing we have noticed that has us concerned is the superslide makes a loud noise when opening or closing. The other two slides do not make the same noise but they are not as large as the super slide. Is this normal?? Slide goes in and out without any problem, just noisier that the other two. Other than spraying with slide lubricant, is there anything else we can check??

Thanks for all the advice on the bedroom slide dropping cure. We found the slider bolts and sure enough they were loose. Tightened them right up and all of the decals are lined up again.

Thanks,

Kelley and Tom

Mine was making a lot of loud popping noises but the slide lubricant took care of most of the noise.

Try some SLIDE LUBE and see what happens.. Don't use regular wet spray lube as it will collect dust and grim making the problem worst.

The slide lube is a good idea. I have the same problem and the lube does curb a little of the noise. When you do spray the lube on make sure you don't get it on the bottom of your slide. If you do you will transmit the lube spray on your carpet inside. Use a piece of cardboard above the slide runners. Hope that will help you out a little. If you find out a way to get rid of all the noise let me know............Dave

I found using spray detailer on the side of the slides will eliminate the seals dragging on the sides and makes them a lot quieter if your problem is in the wiper seals dragging

I found that putting a healthy dose of lube on the gears as well helped. Don't be selfish, share that stuff with those tracks!

We finally solved our noisy clicking slide. The slide rod from the superslide was hitting the stair bracket as it moved in/out. We removed the stair bracket and hack-sawed 1/16" of the corner off and now the noise is gone. Between that fix and all the lube we used, the slide is extremely quiet now.
