I have noticed in the short time that I have used my 5th wheel that the Pin Box appears to up and down quite a bit as seen in my rear view mirror. Is this normal? Thanks...Al

Can be depending on what type of pin box you have and what kind of hitch you have

What model do you have? I have a 2012 335SS and they had to redo the 5th wheel frame last year as mine got so bad it was pushing the floor up in the closet. I noticed this year it is moving more than it was and it is at the factory right now for repairs. The 2 big one is the bedroom slide leaked water from day one and frame on the hitch moving up and down again. There is posts on this awhile back with pictures.

My 5th wheel is a 2011 32mk Provincial pkg purchased new this year. I have used it very little....It is at the dealer for other repairs . When I get it back I will try and make a definite determination on the movement. It seems to me that there is a lot of up and down movement on the pin box as if the steel framing was flexing a lot.Hope I'm wrong. Thanks for your info....Al

I havenoticed some movement where pin box goes up into the siding. I have assumed this flexing is just the siding flexing around the pin box and is by design, thus nothing to worry about. Additional I haven't had any problems.

When was your unit built? If it has the new style notched front cap AND was built prior to August, 2011, then CR has a way to reduce flexing.

Larry....The front of mine looks identical to yours. I will find out the build date when I get the 5th wheel back. Did you have flexing problems? Thanks...Al
