Question about switch

Could someone tell me what the switch marked BLK1 BLK2 is for?

Evidently, you have two black tanks. There is only room on the indicator panel for the status of one black tank. Therefore, the two sets of sensors go through this either/or switch to determine which tank you're reading.

It allows you to monitor two different black tanks, although very few campers actually have two. Just find the position that works for your tank and leave it there. Our black tank is connected to the BLk 2 position on the switch, so the first time we went out I thought the black tank stayed empty for a long time until I flipped the switch and then it said full

It is a standard switch panel. Some units have two black tanks most do not.
You notice you also have capped switch spaces for more slides which some units have.

OK I get it now. But, looking at the picture below I see that I have two gray tanks and one black tank. I messed with the switch and put it on BLK 1 and BLK 2 and I get a light on both. I guess it doesn't matter where that switch is on? I get the same reading.

Questions: do both gray tanks fill up at the same time?

Are they connected?

In the picture below, what do the blue levers do?

Thanks, trying to learn this 5th wheel inside and out!

Dave

I don't know what you have for a camper. How about putting that information in your sig so we all know what you have. It will certainly make it easier to answer.

I would guess you have one black tank and when you get the switch set on the right one it will tell you how full it's getting.

Usually the grey tanks are for the shower and sink that's with the BR, and the other grey tank is for the kitchen sink.

The blue levers are your hot & cold low point drains. Open them when you have water and you will see two streams out from below that panel area of the trailer.

Thanks Dave--Nice looking setup you have there.

Looks like Scott has the same rig you have and he answered your other question.
Way to go guys.
