Radio antenna mystery

Working on this 07 cruiser 28RL and run into a snag with the radio. The kids that started to re-no it took the speaker out. We had 5 speakers from the house that I installed today. There is a Curtis Home theater system in the camper, got the speakers installed and working...however the only FM antenna I could find was the wire one you attach to the dvd unit with a coaxial end on it. Reception with this wire antenna is terrible unless you hold it out in mid air.

Isn't there a built in FM antenna in a 28RL? I did find an unmarked coaxial plate and tried that but doesn't do anything. Here's some pics. I have a AV cable on order for the dvd to tv ordered. The tv is hooked to the one with the 12v. The blank cover plate is where an old phone plate was.

Thanks for any insight you can add for this older camper.

I turn on the antenna booster for the radio. Plus I may have to rotate the roof antenna for good reception.

Our Seville came with a RCA 5.1 surround system and the only FM/AM antenna connection is just as you have pictured. The AM antenna is just a wire that goes into a "hole" in the wall behind the entertainment center.

Our 08 Cruiser was the same way.
I got so frustrated with it, I removed the whole darn thing.

Used a radio shack splitter to connect the FM radio to the tv ant. Works ok. The other wall plate was the cable tv hook up. Bedroom speakers don't work, not sure if it is my fault (wired wrong) or if the young couple unhooked them in the bedroom, need to check that. Thanks for the suggestion to try the tv ant.

Thanks for getting back with your results/findings.
I didn't have the patience with mine.

I also used a splitter on mine to the tv antenna. I replaced my home stereo unit with a touchscreen car stereo with blutooth (mainly because I'm a car audio guy, and had one lying around) FM stereo picks up fantastic.
