We are considering buying a Cruiser CT26RK or Sunset TrailST26RK, sincethat floor planseems to have almost everything we are looking for in a TT (larger kitchen, 60x80 bed, separate bath, under 30' total length, 6000 lbs or less dry weight). Weare a little concerned though with some of the things we have heard about items (dishes, etc) stored in rear kitchens breaking or getting jumbled around while traveling due to bounce in the rear of the trailer. Could any of you rear kitchen owners provide us with some of your experiences, and insight, to help us make a decision. Also, do any of you think it wouldmake entry into the bathroom, while the slide is in, easier if the bathroom door was hinged on the other side (opened the other direction) on this model?

I have had 2 rear kitchen units, my PP has a rear dining room, we prefer a rear kitchen, if you want a kitchen of any size then go with a rear kitchen, we have never had a problem with any of them, never had things fall off and break, I would not hesitate to buy a rear kitchen......

We love our rear kitchen and have not had a problem. Things do roll around if not packedright but that is to be expected. If you plan on doing any real cooking, the rear kitchen is the way to go.

Absolutly the rear kitchen is bigger and better in my opinion. The only time you will have a problem with things moving out is when you run over a curb or such. But then it doesen't matter what area in the camper things are they will go flying.

And for Don even mailboxes are not a problem ( inside joke)

I have an 09 29 RK and was surprised that even the chairs for dinning table don't move.Only thing I miss from my rear livingroom is being able to access the refer. But if every thing was easy what fun would you have.We plan better now so we don't need to get into the refer.

The 2 things we look for in a new camper are accessibility of the bathroom first and the refer second then let things fall where they may. Cause sometimes on the road it is necessary to use the necessary and refuel both your selves and the TV.

Our friends have the rear living and they keep their blinds pulled all the time because when people on the outside look in, they can see all the way through the trailer. and when they are sitting in their lounge chairs, their back is to the pretty scenery. Our tt had a side kitchen and things got jumbled around so I think we're going to like our 29rk.

We've had our 29Rk for two years now, the only thing that ever broke was a Wine glass (I dropped it )!! Get yourself some of the rubber matting & line the selves with it (We use it) every thing stays in it's place. On the other point: We have NO problem using the bathroom with the slide in (the door swings out & is a left hand swing).
