I am the owner of a 2007 Crusier 27RL;Love it so far, done one long trip (7 weeks) with it last year.In 2008 I clean the roof with the appropriate products it came out as white as it could be (I guess ); We did not clean it last year andbefore I spend the time and effort ( )

cleaning it this year I would like to get your opinion...

While I was attending a seminar this spring I sort of understood that they were differents views on how often should the rubber roff be cleaned. Some say ervery year, some say not to often in order to protect the surface from the rubbing.I would like to know if possible your experiences on cleaning this rubber roof. is it really necessary to clean it every year... As the days are getting colder here, I still have a few weeks to be in a position to clean it...

thks for your answers.

I wash the roof twice a year. I use liquid Spic & Span and a car wash type brush. Seems to keep the roof clean and reduces black streaks on the side of the trailer.

Knowing that $#!t runs down hill, i have always cleaned my roof when it is

dirty. As Dalemac377 saida clean roof keeps the black streaks off the side of

the trailer. I also keep it inside when it's not in use which means i only have

to clean it once or twice a year. Also the downspout extensions help keep the

drips from the side of the trailer also helping with the black streaks.

I use spic and span and have been happy with the results (I wash the roof 2x a year) but someone here used a different product and the pics of it looked like a new roof. I can't recall the name of the product but I think it was some sort of enzyme type cleaner? Maybe someone will remember and post it.
