Slide out folly

Hi all,
Had our brand new Cruiser Aire 28LB out for the May long weekend and after packing up at home with no problems, got to the boone doggle site and one of the two slides wouldn't work. After getting tech support from my dealership, there was no fix and spent the weekend breaking the BBQ and having drink beer to make room in the outside fridge for food that we could squeeze out of the indoor fridge.

Anyways, trick learned was that there is two electronic modules, one for each slide. If one of your slides isn't working, find the modules and just plug the other into the working module so that you can at least have full access until you get it repaired.

I'm guessing you have the Schwintek slides in your unit. At least you know for next time - but hopefully there isn't a next time once you get it fixed.

Hi Scott,
Yes you are correct. We came back on the Monday and I had it at the dealership Tuesday and they fixed it immediately. Best service in a while. I was an hour drive though.

Don't you have a manual crank back up?

Hi,
Thanks for the video clip. The tech and I went through the error codes over the phone and had no success. Also, you can only do the disengaging of the motor if the slide is out. (It's a fail safe to get you home) If you are stuck out in the middle of nowhere and the error codes and electronic override don't work, then if you have a second slideout, just switch the incoming wires and use your good module. My module has easy connect plugs now vs the individual wires shown in the this excellent video.

Thanks again.
