Sold My Beautiful Cruiser..

Yes can you believe it, Even after all the work that I put into it.
Nothing was wrong with it, As when we bought the truck and trailer
together, both in mint condition. Well after a costly repair on the truck
the main injector pump on a 6.5 Detroit diesel. The truck was just for pulling the fifth wheel and wouldn't get driven enough. Also not good for it to just use on small drives to the store. The main reason that we sold was that we are moving up north and diesels don't like cold weather And I guess that I am not just a diesel guy. Also the beautiful Cruiser would be just a little to fancy for the camping up north and mostly dry boondock camping. So we decided to sell the truck and trailer but not together. I listed the truck on Craigslist and the first person bought it So I sold the truck. I listed the fifth wheel got multiple calls but yes the first guy bought it also. So I am just letting you know that I will be checking in once and a while and just want to say thank you for all your help and advice. The person who bought the fifth wheel just loves the Crossroad Cruiser. You never know he might just check in for some help on the Forum. Oh yea we are not camper less as we bought an older 24ft trailer which will work just perfect for us up way up in northern British Columbia . Thanks Rick...

Best of luck with your move. You were lucky to sell both to the first caller. Sometimes it's difficult to sell in these times.
So, best wishes for your future endeavors.

Same Here

We enjoyed our Crossroads Cruiser for 10 years and made many improvements as we worked summers in Yellowstone NP. It was a grand experience and I miss her BUT I really miss the 2012 RAM 3500. That RAM was a beauty and pulled the 5th wheel over some nasty mountain passes, down snow covered expressway and through 2 spoke sand and never gave up a problem.

Unlike the 2004.5 RAM 2500 cost us an ECM, Injectors, water pump, fuel pump and the turbo was failing.
