I have a 2010 Cruiser 26RK. When I open and close the faucets they squeak. Does anyone know why and how to stop it? I have not been able to determine how to remove the handles. I suspect there is an O ring that neads lubrication. Edited by: rcflyer

More than likely it is the stems that are making noise. Once the handles are off, you can remove the stems (water off!) and match them up at a plumbing supply or hardware store. I replaced the faucet for a better one.

We had the same problem with our 2010 Cruiser with both the bathroom and kitchen faucets. We have the bronze finish faucets. The stems need to be removed and apply some plumbers grease to them. With a small pen knife the cap on top of the faucet handle can be removed, then the handle can be removed with a screwdriver. With the handle removed the nut holding the stem can be removed and the stempulled out. Apply the grease and put it back together, that should stop the squeaks. Be careful to put the stem in the correct way or the faucet will turn in the opposite direction. I also had to replace he "o" rings on the kitchen water spout so that it wouls swivel. The original rings were too large to allow for a smooth operation.
