Step Bracket broken

I don't have a picture so I will try to explain this as best as possible. Our 2012 seems to have broken it's step bracket. Not the step, but the bracket that the steps bolt to. It is the left side bracket facing the steps. It seems to be welded to the frame at the back and bolted to possibly an outrigger at the door opening. The left bracket cracked right at the 90 degree bend going to the outrigger bolt. Took the unit to camping world (second owner, extended warranty) and it spent 7 weeks there, 4 of them were spent arguing with them that it was broken, they claimed it wasn't. Finally got the service manager to actually look under while I stood on the first (bottom) step so he could see the cracked bracket. Three weeks later, finally got the rig out of there and I had a brand new shiny set of steps bolted to, you guessed it, the broken bracket. After a nuclear melt down in the parking lot, they took the rig back and welded the broken bracket. Now the same bracket is breaking around the outrigger bolt and the steps are once again unstable. Any ideas on how to fix this?? It certainly will not be going back to camping world!!!

You could try a second dealer if there is one close by, or call the warranty company and see if they will reimburse you for one you purchase online, or take it off and have a real welder to it correctly.
