Taking the RK to Lake Bastrop on Dec 9th

I am headed to Lake Bastrop State Park next Friday and coming back Sunday afternoon.

My oldest son is getting married there at the Ospery Hall. I am very happy for him.

Just hope the weather is not too bad.

Please post on clean up around the park since the fires. I would be curious how much progress has been made since I was there in September.

The State Park opened back up last week. The Piney Hills FHU sites are all open and 70% of the hiking trails are open.

Are you going to the State Park or to one of the LCRA parks on Lake Bastrop? Although close together they are different parks.

It is the South Shore LCRA Park.

I will my son was out there last week and said this part was not affected by the fires.

OK, just finished loading up the Cruiser, put air in the tires... (hoping Santa brings me new tires and wheels). I will be headed out at 7 am...
