Last night I had something weird happen in my 5 year old Cruiser 31QB. The

toilet was flushed and the ball valve closed but looks like the water

never shut off and the bowl filled up with clean water and overflowed.

My washroom is in the Fifth Wheel and the water ran down the entry steps

and into the kitchen area. Needless to say we got it all cleaned up

and gave the kids a lesson on making sure the toilet is fine before

leaving the washroom. This morning when I was having coffee I noticed

on the underside of the trailer water droplets were dripping from the

fabric underneath the area where the water spill was. I am going to

keep an eye on it. I am thinking this is a result of the overflow and

that it will hopefully dry up in the hot warm weather we have been

having. Do you think that it may be something more than this? I really

don't want to peel back all of that underside fabric to expose the

tanks.

I think I would at least peel back a corner of the fabric closest to where the leak happened and let some air get up into the insulation to help dry it out. Especially if you have seen water dripping from the fabric.

I have never peeled any of that back - excuse my ignorance but besides the holding tanks what is underneath that fabric?

It wouldn't be that difficult to open a small area for air to get in. If you take a look you will see where it's held up with metal strips and screws around the edge. You don't need mold growing. There is insulation, wiring, both AC &DC, water lines, heat run is in there, the fresh water tank, and holding tanks.

this is good advice. Hunter and Old farmer have a lot of good info to share. At the very least make an entry at the low point were the water is dripping. Many products are available to repair a void in the fabric (Eternabond) Water is the RV'S worst enemy Good Luck
