I OWN A 2012 CROSSROADS CRUISER 29RLX,WHAT WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION HITCH ARE YOU USING, WHERE THE TANK PLACEMENT IS I CAN NOT FOLLOW THE MFG. INSTRUCTIONS AND HAVE THE CHAINS VERTICAL PRIOR TO HOOK UP. WHERE I HAVE TO LOCATE THE BRACKETS ISBEHIND THE TANKS ANDTHE CHAINS ARE ALMOST AT A 45 DEG. ANGLE AT HOOK UP. NOT ONLY THAT I HAVE TO REMOVE THE FIBERGLASS TANK COVER TO TIGHTEN CHAINS.

Ok. First please stop using all caps as it is very hard to read and is also considered yelling. Now for the hitch. Ours has a similar issue. The dealership set it up a little short (I think less than an inch from manufacturers recommendation). We still have to lift the tank cover to snap up the bars. I have seen on some forums people talk about moving the tanks to a slightly different spot. What wdh do you have? You might try adjusting the cams to help you.

I apologize for the caps and appreciate your response, I have a Eaz Lift trunnion mount, sold and installed by the dealer. I just spoke with Mike R. with Camco who is the Mfg.Technical Specialist, he had me send him photos yesterday which he forwarded to the engineers. It is their opinion that having the chains at an theangle they are will work, but not at optimal perfomance. They recommend that I have them welded to the frame so that the chains are straight, again not optimal but abetter solution. The good news is that I may be able to hook-up witout removing the cover, which by the way they liked and are talking about designing a WDH for this application.

On our 2011 the tanks are in a side compartment so no problem.
Are theredifferent length arms available?Fabricating a different tank setup should be cheap and easy...maybe a front/back setup leaving plenty of room for the mounting bolts for the cam locks.
Let us know what you end up doing and good luck.
