A full queen is 60x80. A short queen is, I think, 60x75. The tale of the tape should give you the answer.

Looks from the measurements that you have a regular queen size mattress. it's not unusual for the mattress to hang off the platform a little bit. if it didn't, every time you walked by, you'd whack your shins on a corner of the plywood, and the bed would be harder to make. the 60x80 measurements are for the mattress.

Thanks, think getting a memory foam mattress that would hang off a little bit would be ok?

Probably. Just don't sit on the very foot of it.

We put a queen size Sleep Number bed in our 325CK Cruiser Patriot fifth wheel this past summer shortly after we got the trailer and were very comfortable on it. It hangs off each side by about an inch and off the foot of the platform by maybe 2 or 3 inches. The mattress that came with the trailer was a pillow-top and it wasn't terrible, but we knew we wanted something in there that we could count on for years, and the original mattress just didn't feel like it'd be that great a couple of years down the road.

There are a lot of folks on the forum who have put memory foam mattresses in their trailers and love 'em. Lots of people who just got memory foam mattress toppers, and they seem happy, too.

Good luck.

thanks...wife and I started having back problems on the 8" mattress that came with our rig...so before we hit the road for new years, I wanted something new in there. Just ordered one off Amazon and used gift cards...got it down to 28 bucks and some change...i love Christmas parties! LOL
