Wood?

Does anyone know what type of wood was used to make the swivel chairs and footstools in a 2008 29CK fiver? Also the wood for the cabinets and trim. It looks like oak grain but I don't think it is. I need to add some props to the feet of the chairs to raise them 4 inches. I'm also going to make some larger/longer cabinet doors so I can shelve and access the unused spaces above the TV and overhead kitchen cabinet. Thanks!

My 07 is all oak. Some pieces may be veneer but the cabinet doors are solid oak. Not sure about the swivel chairs as mine were tossed long ago.

Cabinet doors of the 07 vintage are probable basic raised oak panel. Take one off and look at a 'habitat re-store' location. They may have some dors that match. Or make up something that matches and add it to the top of existing doors.

I would say the doors, and the frame are oak. The panels I'm not positive, But I think they are more then likely a thin plywood with the oak tape over applied.
Can't help you with the chairs.

Wood

I took a cabinet door to the an Amish cabinetmaker and he's making me 4 larger cabinet doors to match the others for $35 each; I'm not going to get my tools out for that price
Thanks for the replies.

I made some doors for ours and I e-mailed Crossroads and they said it was White Ash. Matched pretty good.
