I recently purchased a 2007 Zinger ZT-290-FB, I have 2007 GMC half-ton pickup, 5.3 with towing package, does anyone think i need to go to 3/4 ton or will my 1/2 be sufficient enough to pull. It did handle it ok when I pulled home from dealer

Kinda late to ask now. What engine/gear ratio/package do you have on the truck?

Do you have Duramax in your 2500 or 6.0 gas

You should be fine, factory tow package? Watch your hitch as there were many reports of the tube/box failing over time due to corrosion, etc.

My 2008 has the 6l and 6-spd. tranny, 4.10 gears.

I think you should be fine with that combo. Where in the Great state of Mississippi do you live?

You should be fine with that combo. Before we bought our first 5'er We towed a 29 foot Sprinter TT with an 01 GMC with the same basic setup as yours. Never had any problems.
