2010 Zinger 23’ No hot water

I have a 2010, 23’ Zinger with a dual system (electric and gas) Atwood hot water heater.
I do have hot water inside the tank which I checked by opening the pressure release valve and hot water comes out.
The valves are on the rear of the hot water heater tank, unless there are a second set of valves I am missing, and I have checked each possible configuration to bring hot water into the unit.

In only one position, which I think is the bypass position, does pressurized water come into the faucets on the hot water side. In all other valve configurations no water at all comes through the hot water faucets. In that position the water is cold coming out the hot water faucets.

I have checked the outside shower to make sure it is off and not sending cold back into the system.

I would greatly value any input.

First ..if you have 2 or 3 valves they all need to be vertical or al have to be horizontal. I am thinking all horizontal for regular flow.
Second...you do not have hot water in the tank so there will be no hot water at faucet.
If you are on electric,make sure that if there is a switch to go between fireplace and water heater (if there is a fireplace) that it is switched to water heater. There also should be a switch on the wall to turn on heater or a small switch on the outside of the heater on the bottom left side ...depending the brand.
When on propane ,make sure propane is on by lighting stove to purge air. Then make sure flame is evident inside tube of heater.

It is two valves plus a valve for the pump when not on City water.
The hot water heater is producing hot water, unfortunately it is not going inside the unit. I was certain playing with the valves would fix it and it hasn't in any configuration. I am really stumped. Is there an internal safety valve?

Are the valves in the correct position?

Yep. In that position no water at all enters the unit. i believe the only time water enters the unit is in the bypass position. Is there some valve I am missing somewhere? Can one of these valves fail??

Is there some form of internal emergency vale inside the heater? Could one of the valves be faulty?

I think there is a check valve at the tank in the hot water outlet line. Possibly it is stuck closed.

I agree need to see a wider view...Need to see where the water lines go in and come out of the WH, plus more of the valve to the right in your picture, looks to be the plumbing to your fresh water tank pump...

Sorry. I don't have a wider view of the heater. This pic has been floating around on the forum for a few years now. I just moved it over here trying to help.

Now, if you look a little closer you will see arrows pointing to the direction of the water flow---in--and out on the water heater. That should be all that is necessary. It also shows the position of the one way check valve that Russb mentioned. The only valve not in the picture is the one for the suction hose on the pump. Which is used for winterizing.

If you know there is hot water in the heater, but it's not getting out to the faucets, then maybe the one way check valve is the culprit. It might be a place to start.
At least you know it's making hot water.

If it's a new rv or new to you, there is a check valve on hot outlet & some knucklehead at the factory or previous owner could've installed it backwards, stranger things have happened.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see any place on this thread where the op has stated the RV isn't his.
On his first post he said he has a 2010, 23’ Zinger.

We need to see your units piping / valuing arrangements to make an educated evaluation

Yes I agree with Jeffur and a better picture of the three way valve on the upper left side of the picture...
