We are now the happy owners of a new 2012 Zinger ZT26BL. Just purchased it Sunday. We look forward to becoming active members of the forum, and connecting with people with common interests. We live in Cleveland, Ohio and like to camp in Ohio, PA, West VA, New York, and Michigan.

Congratulations and welcome to the CrossRoads Family. Don't hesitate to ask questions or add input. Lots of good folks on the Forum who willingly share their knowledge.

Hi and welcome to the forum! I also have a ZT26BL but mine is a 2011. I love it! As to wanting ot connect with people, check out the mason dixon group on the rally w/ crossroads board. We are getting together this weekend in VA but they have a spring get together in the Gettysburg PA area as well. This will be my first outing w/ the group. Congrats on your new Zinger, may it bring you many happy camping trips.

Thanks for the welcome everyone!
One simple question about the forum- how did you get the pictures in your signature blocks?
The things I am thinking about for the future is blocking and leveling the camper in a campsite. Our other camper was much smaller, so that was a snap. Now with this larger camper, and having a slide out, it is much more important. I am just wondering what everyone carriers with them for blocking under the leveling jacks, and also if you put any little levels on the outside of your camper?

Jim & Magda,
Welcome to the Zinger family! That is a great trailer! I have the exact make and model. My wife and I used it this summer about 10 trips for a total of 26 days. We got ours in March. By the way this Tracy & Helen and we live in Parma Heights. We have a common friend. Christopher Mazur. That is Helen's brother and we look forward to meeting you guys and possibly camping with you. Again welcome to the family.

Jim:
Adding a picture is relatively easy to do. First upload the photo to Photobucket or some other free storage site. After you have uploaded it click on the link for the photo and copy it. Then go to the member profile page, click edit profile and scroll down to the signature area. Open the signature area and paste the link there. Make sure that the link has IMG in brackets at the front and /IMG in brackets at the end.

For leveling you do not use the jacks, they are stabilizers only, if you use them to level it can damage your trailer. Most people use either wood (I think 4x4 but not sure) or something like lynx levelers (this is what we use). You can get chock blocks to go with the lynx set and it helps to lock it in place on the leveler. We get very little movement using this system and putting down the stab jacks. You should always block the trailer when unhooked so it does not roll away on you!!!

on edit: do not use the little wimpy chocks that you can find cheap at walmart, I have accidentally driven my trailer right over it pretty easily and just crushed the thing. Those little ones are meant for a smaller trailer than these. The big yellow (available thru camping world)or big orange chocks work really well.
