219RB Connect 2.0 prep

Evening guys. So I have a new to me Zinger with Connect 2.0 prep. I found the plate on top but what I don't know or find is where to pickup the switched power for this unit. In the box comes a switch with switch plate. I found the plate on the roof where I tap into for power but do I leave this running constantly or do I switch power it and where is that? Thanks in advance.
