I have all the appliance and lights off. Is there a breaker located somewhere to shut off the power from being pulled from the battery? I have an electric toungue jack and have already had to replace 1 battery to raise this trailer. I am new to this model and don't have access to plug it in regularly so it has to sit in a lot, but 2 new batteries in 6 months?

I added a battery cut-off switch in the battery compartment. You can get the same results by disconnecting the battery cables whenever in storage. There are small items in the rig that drain the battery (like the propane detector).

Battery cut off switch may be what you need.

If you install one I would close the propane bottle valves (I close them when the trailer is not in use)

RV’s have parasitic loads that will discharge the battery over time. Some but not all of these loads are</span>LPgas leak detectors, the TV antenna power booster, clocks, stereos and appliance circuit boards.</span>

Not knowing what you call a "short" period of time, it would be hard to help you figure out the problem.
If it's couple weeks or so, and you only have the one Interstate battery, I would say that is probably normal.
If it's a couple days, now that's a different story. If this is your case, I think maybe you should be looking for something left turned on, or that worthless Interstate is shot already. Which has happened to quite a few on here.
The battery cut off switch mentioned before is a good idea.
