Taking the advice of some RV owners, we left a window or two cracked and the bathroom vent cracked. I guess we used more propane but the condensation wasn't nearly as bad.

You have to try an electric heater. No condensation from heat, it's all we heat with unless it's so cold our 2 heaters won't cover us then I turn on furnace also. We have slept in our camper at 18 below and stayed warm.

We weren't where we could use the electric heater. We don't have a generator so it was propane or nothing. We only use the propane where electric isn't available.

I don't believe using the furnace should increase the condensation as the combustion air is drawn in from outside air. The combustion process is totally isolated from the interior. This has been discussed in other posts also.

I always had condensation in my Zinger, and in my Sierra. We've camped in 20 degree weather, (18 below!?!?), in the Zinger, and now we've camped in 18 degree weather in the Cruiser. No condensation in the Cruiser, but there were only my wife and I.

I'm thinking that the condensation is "the nature of the beast", which intensifies with more people. Propane or electric, our breathing will add moisture to the air, the more people, the more moisture. Good gravey, man ; does that mean I'm breathing in everyones "moisture? Not something I want to spend a lot of time thinking about!

Sometimes there is no CG in the area. We then partake of what is.... Flying-J or Wally World. One timethe parking lot of a closedlittle storein the middle of the Catskill Mountains.

We stayed in a CG in Jennings near The Villages. They didn't charge for electricity in Nov. We didn't need heat or air those few days we were there. They do charge for it if you stay a month at a time.

I don't think we can compareyou're much larger more expensive 5th wheel Zinger to our little $10,000 19 footer.

Forgive my poor memory but did you buy a home there or are you living in a CG?

Lakecity is on the corner of rt.10 and 75 very middle of state at the beginning of panhandle. Next year we are going further south maybe down around your area. We spent a month in Ocala and then headed north to get warm lol.

Peter I just found Clearwater. How is the traffic to get there and to get around? Don't like bumper to bumper when towing.
