Fallen fresh water tank

Thank you yes I m very happy with finished results. Sad thing is the owner/now widowed was charged/paid about $700. "To reposition fallen water tank from failed straps, adding two more straps". (Exactly as stated on work order) documented under warranty. I'm certain she had no clue when selling to me that they had penetrated the tank when screwing the coroplast back up. Bottom line it's done and done as you say better than any dealer would do. Time to enjoy.

Good looking job Bowhunter. When you can repair a problem yourself it gives you the satisfaction that you know it's done right.. Welcome to the forum from NC

Smile Fallen fresh water tank

Thanks Papa T . Agree better to do yourself if you can. Peace of mind going forward. I've made four trips this far since repair, with FW tank 2/3 full. I still spend too much time looking under TT. (Per DW) It's just what I do.

Fallen FW tank

Glad I'm not the only one a little anal. I flew my own Aircraft all over Eastern US , Canada and Bahamas for thirty years. Each time I advanced in ratings Private, Instrument, and commercial pilot and complexity of aircraft, I became increasingly worse. But aviation is far less forgiving of not being anal. I had check lists for my check lists. Happy and safe Camping.

Years ago when I took flying lesson the instructor told me that air plane is going to come how depended on me by doing a full inspection at all time, and to take nothing for granted, and all ways look for a spot to land just in case

Fallen fresh water tank

Added some aluminum "C" channel. Local weld shop cut to size $20 each and ten minute install. Cheap added insurance.
