Just curious how far under the trailer other peoples valve handles are for the grey and black tanks? I took my Zinger out for the first time last weekend and when I was at the dump station Sunday on my way out I had a hard time reaching two of mine.

The waste connection is only 4" back from the side and the black tank valve is about 10" back and angled towards the side. The problem are the grey tank handles. They are angled straight down and one is 23" back and the other is 27" back. Of course, me and my bad roator cuffs couldn't get leverage to get them open so I had to get myself under the trailer to open them.

Disgusting. All the spillage from the previous campers and I had to go under there.

Anyway, just wondering if there is a standard that these are supposed to be set at. My last camper they were all within a foot of the side and angled paralell to the ground.

The dealer doesn't think replumbing these will be covered by Crossroads but is going to take pictures and send them in to see what they say. I say, I had a plumber in training build mine (I also only have hot water coming out of all fausets in the bathroom no matter which knob you turn on).

My grey valves are about the same but are angled towards the side at 45 dgs so it isn't as bad as yours. I do have to get on a knee but that's it. Not sure if there is some kind of regulation or standard but I doubt it. It all depends on how they plumb the rig which is probably why they went to cable actuated valves (which I am glad I don't have).
