Key question

We are having our "new to us" 2008 Fifth Wheel Zinger 250BH delivered Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at our campground. We realized that we now cannot find the set of keys we were given. Are all Zinger fifth wheel key sets the same? I have called Crossroads and they could not help us. Any advice you all could offer will be most appreciated. We're getting our new camper and now cannot get into it unless we find the set or get some new ones somehow. I hope the rest of our camping summer doesn't go like we starting out. lol. Thanks for any help offered.

More than likely the compartment keys are all the same (i.e.: storage, propane, battery). The main door has a deadbolt that is unique to your rig. You may have to call a locksmith to get in and then replace the main door locks.

Most campers have two locks on each door, a dead-bolt, and a regular lock. The regular lock is a type that most RV dealers (and some campgrounds) have a master key for. The dead bolt lock is the one the owner makes sure to lock if no one is to get in. Maybe, the dealer only locked the regular door lock, and a master key will get it open. Then you will have access to change the locks.

Take the door lock off, and there will be a label giving the key code

The master dealer key will open both locks. Check the number of the lock like mentioned above and contact this company for a replacement key or a new set of locks.

If you can open a hatch, depending on model, you might be able to get in from the inside (such as lifting the bed) and then throwing the red lock bolt from the inside. It is the deadbolt.
