Do you have an outside shower or spray port with hot and cold handles? If so, make sure both handles are in the closed position, otherwise the water mixes and disrupts the hot water flow.

Not to get personal but are you taking a camper shower or a home shower? Meaning are you letting the water run like at home or do you shut the water off after each action-getting wet -soaping up- rinsing off. I ask because we had guests one time and they did the home shower thing -turn the water on and let it run till done - and after a long shower they ran out of hot water. It does not take long to run out 6 gal of hot water. Probably more like 4 gal before you notice a temperature difference. That is one of the reason why the temp of the water heater is so hot. You temper it with more cold to conserve the hot water.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I will check the outside shower, I just wonder why that would not have water running if one of the faucets is open back there.
The shower is shut off during taking a shower at times , don’t use like at home
My camper is 90 miles away so I will check all these things this weekend and get back to everyone.
I appreciate this forum

The problem is when the outside valves are open but the shut off on the shower head is closed.

The hot water tank may have a temp preset mixing valve on it ( mixes cold and hot to get a preset temp of hot water discharge). I own a 2011 Seville and it has one. These build up with calcium and impede the output temp. I just clamped off the mixing line but eventually I will take the connections apart and remove the mixer and clean it.

I looked at the outside shower and that was off, I checked all bypass valves and the6 were all in the right position.
Our inside water pressure seemed really low so I took the protection pressure valve off the outside hose and now the water pressure is better and we had plenty of hot water in the shower. I think the valve may have been defective and restricting the water pressure too much.

Not sure where your hooked up but some places will have pressure reducers built into the water spigot. So if you add another reducer the water pressure and flow will be minimal.

It seems to work better now
I did replace the original shower head too and it uses less water and has more pressure now
