Our 2012 has a 32"LG Flat screen in the main living area. Do these TV's have buttons on them anywhere?? I cannot find any external buttons for power, channels and such. Seems to be a remote only tv. And of course, I have every owners manual that came with the coach EXCEPT the tv one. Hoping I am just missing them, it seems kinda silly LG would make a tv without buttons!

Thanks Guys!

Try to google your brand and model number. There are usually owner manuals on the web.

I had to buy a new TV in June got it home ande no owners manual. Went back to Best Buy, and they said that most TV manufactures are no longer packing the manuals with the TV's you have to go on line a down load the manual. I did

What TV mount are you using? We are installing our TV in the swivel TV holder but found that the mount we bought had to be installed off center. There is a label that says "Mount here" or something like that. Does anyone know if the filler board is only in one little spot or all the way across?

TIA

Larry/Jean,
I believe the filler board behind the TV spot is a 2x6. Hopefully the "mount here" label is in the middle of it. When touring the factory the last 2 years I noticed all the "2x6" boards in various places, like the BR and the rear where the ladder goes. The put the 2x6's in there to mount the screws to. I used the lag bolts that came with my TV Mount. I did use a very small drill bit to "search" for the proper place and I hit the solid wood both times. Good luck with your mount.

Travel well,
Jim

Thanks Jim.

Did the boardrun horizontally? What TV mount did you use? I got one from Costco that should work -</span>http://www.costco.com/SANUS-Simplicity-SMF3-Full-Motion-22%22-47%22-TV-Wall-Mount.product.100071339.html

I have one of those at home and it's fine. BUT I see no way to lock it closed to keep it from extending while traveling. I've been looking for a mount for the BR TV but haven't found one that will lock. I have a mental picture of it extending and then a few good bounces and it falls...

Something to think about. We really need the extension and positioning features of this model because of the location of our sofa.
I was thinking that a luggage strap would work or heavy duty Velcro. http://www.amazon.com/Luggage-Aqua-Blue-Piggyback-Durable-Materials/dp/B00F0O35EE/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1382283806&amp;sr=8-5&amp;keywords=long+luggage+strap

A lot of RV dealers recommend that you take the TV down for travel but that would be a lot of trouble IMHO.

I have a mount in the back bedroom at home that the wall plate is v shaped and the mount slides down on it. To remove just lift up the TV. Swivels and tilts and easy to remove. Just don't know the brand of the mount, sorry. But look for that feature.

We remove the bedroom TV and lay it on the bed when traveling I use a short quick connect cable that just plugs into the Tv jack. The mount snap locks I just figure the tv gets less abuse laying on the bed.

Thinking about the bouncy ride, I may reconsider and just pull the TV off the bracket it hooks on.
