I have 08 Zinger 28ft. rear living travel trailer. The wiring harness for the slide has fallen down. It appears that the retaining bracket has broke. Has anyone experienced this? Does anyone have a fix?

Call CR and get a replacement part, maybe? Or, older units didn't have the plastic flex wiring holder, just a long, weak steel spring to keep the wiring from hanging loose when the slide was closed.

typical problem . our plastic harness failed twice . one time i discovered it as we were leaving the campground and the other time was coming home from Indiana from the factory rally . this time all the wires were worn through . called CR and they sent the spring that the previous post wasrefering to. no problems so far . much better than that cheap plastic stuff . luckily, we were still under warranty . our local RV dealer sent Cr a picture . they sent the part and paid for the installation .

Mine broke the first time i used the trailer, fixed it with tie wraps. Think I will try the spring thing too.

All 3 of mine broke at least once by now. I scammed layzee acres for a spare just before my warranty ran out. I called them and told them to ship me 2 because I had 2 broken when I only had one broken. They asked me to bring it in and I told them that I just picked it up from service a few days prior and I don't want to waste another trip for an insignificant item like that. 3 days later I got 2 at my door.
When I need more, I will definitely come up with something a little more durable.
