So I decided to look at a DVD today, only to find that it showed in black and white. I unmounted the TV and sure enough, it was plugged into a green component video plug. There's no composite (yellow) video input at all.
Not sure whether this is a widespread problem, but I plan on writing up a formal e-mail to Crossroads tomorrow. How can they ship out a unit like this? I've had no other issues other than this, but wow, maybe they need to hire me as their technology consultant because this is ridiculous.
A friend of mines was just like that. They say they moved some plugs around and selected something different for the input, but there is no way it will work without the yellow component input with the current stereo outputs.
