I thought CR went back to a 2-yr warranty, but now the website says 1 year again. They had 2 yrs in 2013 when we bought our current Reserve, then went to 1 yr, but then I thought they went back to 2-yrs.
My dealer said that was short term thing they tried, doesn't necessarily reflect well on their dependability/quality. We just got a 2018 and it only has 1 year, some of the older model ones in the lot still have the 2 year warranty stickers on them.
I have a 2017 Rezerve with a 2 year. I wouldn't buy the extended warranty because of that. I figured in 2 years if nothing goes wrong we are good to go. Besides I feel $2700.00 for a warranty was way over the top and double covered for 2 years.
We bought our 2016 Sunset Trail 250RB in February 2016 and it came with a 2 year warranty. The warranty runs out in February 2018 unless we buy an extended warranty.

I spoke to the cross roads service department yesterday and they have a 1 year warranty but they include a 1 year review period after that. I would imagine that it depends on the situation but my front cap is fading and they said to take it in to the dealer and have them write it up before the 2 year mark.
