Question 2020 309RK Awning Extender

I was wondering if anyone has been able to add an awning extender. I don't see an open slot on the awning and have no idea if there is any other way to add one of these sunshade type extenders.

Are you talking about the sun screen that slides into a track/groove on the awning roller, and hangs down to the ground?

I don't know about your awning, but I have one for ours.

We had one on our previous camper, it was nice to block the sun from that side. It had a short piece, maybe 6" long that went in the spare channel in the main awning roller, and you would zip the sun screen onto the short piece.
On my current camper, I added an LED strip to the awning roller, in that channel.

Yes the sunscreen type. I'll snap a photo of my awning. There is no way that I can see that it would work in mine. Maybe cause it's a 2020 309RK? Maybe that model/yr didn't add that option.

Not sure, but think most rollers have x3 slots; maybe you need to unroll yours completely and look for a 3rd?

Yes.. And you can use tent stakes to keep it down.

Mine just has the awning flap. I stood on a ladder to string party lights and there's only the track for the awning. I think it must be my model ☹️
