2022 253RB Sunset Trail screen covers

Anyone have a link for dirt dauber screens for the hot water heater? I find a 4 1/2 inch screen on Amazon. The cover hole is only 4 inches.

This is what I use. It doesn't fit perfectly but it has stayed on for over a year now.

Camco 42150 Flying Insect Screen - WH 200,4.5" X 4.5" X 1.3" , white https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00480BVXS...ing=UTF8&psc=1

We live in Georgia and have been all over the SE was well as out to Glacier last year. Probably towed 15k miles last year.

It has sturdy and strong springs. Never been a problem.

This is what I use for the fridge too.. in case you need it.

Camco 42148 Flying Insect Screen... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00192HPOC...p_mob_ap_share

The water heater has a screen too but I used to be from an old camper and dont remember where it came from.

Like I gave the answer before. You need the 4.5x4.5 screen. That's the only one that will fit your water heater. They don't make a 4x4 because it has to overlap the outside of your vent. Look back at he Amazon link I posted and you'll see the one you need.

The opening is 4x4 inches, I have that same screen, too large. Do you have it attached to the outside somehow?

I believe that will work. No way to order so I shot them a message, we'll see. I don't find anything else that looks like it will work after weeks of searching the web, thanks.

That would be the correct one for your water heater. Unfortunately it looks like it is a new product and no one has them in stock.

I purchased stainless steel screen and made my own for the water heater, heat exhaust, upper and lower fridge vents. Using black gorilla tape to hold inside. 6 years and all is good. Not that difficult and doesn’t stick out like the single screens you purchase.

After some research this is what I found out. The door on the water heater in question does not have the vent attached. In other words when you open the door the vent stays behind and there is a hole in the door so a screen that attaches to the vent would have to be removed to open the door. The one I left a link to goes behind the vent and attaches to it there so as you open the door the vent and screen stays behind.

All good suggestions just this water heater door is different so it requires a different screen and of course it is on backorder.
