33BD 2016 Changes

I factory ordered a 33BD that shipped from the factory 9/8/15, and I picked it up this past Friday. I noticed a few modifications to the product line for 2016.

First, Crossroads must have been overwhelmed with the faded brown cap issue because it is gone. The cap is now a cream to light beige. They have also eliminated the blue light strip.

Next I noticed an addition of a roof ladder mounted to the back of the trailer. Even the dealership, which is one of the largest CR dealers in the country, was confused. He couldn't tell me if the roof was reinforced so it can be walked on or not. Does anybody know the answer to that?

Only minor changes to the spec on the inside. The dining table is now wood instead of the matching solid surface material, and they no longer include the storage totes for the under seat storage area. My interior photos didn't come out too well, so I will take some new ones when possible, but here a few exterior shots showing the new cap and ladder.

I have never heard of a Grand Reserve, and a google search does not show up anything that looks like yours (i.e. front cap)? Do you have anymore info on this unit? It looks awesome...love to see more pictures.

I had not heard of the Grand Reserve either. The factory order sheet was for a ST Reserve with the Sunset Package. My guess is they are now referring to the Reserve as the Grand Reserve?

We bought our ST32RL in April and it is titled as a 2016. The front cap color is the same and most of the buildout is the same. Looks like they have added those fake louvers on the front cap and the ladder. Would be interested in whether they reinforced the roof also. Ours is definitely not one I want to walk on.

Looking at the pictures on Facebook the slots on the cap appear to be lights.

Yes, they are yellow LED's. The switch to turn mine on is located inside the front storage box.
