A/C fan noise

So we are camping and the A/C is running great and sounding smooth. However when it cools to temp and kicks over to just the Hi fan there's a sputtering or clattering sound.

Any ideas? Should I be concerned?

If you hadn't said it was smooth running while cooling, I would have suspected dirt dobber (mud dauber) nests in the fan rotor.

Check and make sure the drain holes are open and the condensation/water is able to get out.

I don't have a tall enough ladder with me currently. Once I do will I need to remove the cover to fnd the weep holes?

Water is dripping off the roof like normal when the A/C runs. It seems to be the fan motor rather than actual A/C unit. Kinda sounds like fan blade rubbing something. My bathroom mini fan quit working last trip and had to replace it with a Vortex. What a wonky wiring job they did up there. Its always something with these trailers.

I was just thinking that maybe the holes were partially plugged and allowing some water to set in the case. Then when the compressor shuts off, you can hear the blades chopping water. Just a thought.
I can't remember what it looks like for sure with the cover off, but I would guess you will have to pull it to inspect the drain holes. At that time you should be able to spin the fan to see whats going on with it.
