Auto Level Jacks

Today we picked up our new 2018 Grand Reserve, 26SI. It has the auto leveling feature, but what surprised me was how close to the pavement the jacks are when completely retracted. The 2 rear jacks are about 12-18 inches behind the tires on each side, but only about 6-8 inches off the pavement. Seems as though they could hit the pavement when driving down a steep incline or off a curb (not likely I suppose), like some gas stations. Anyone had issues with this?

We have the identical unit. I have not had an issue yet however I can see that if you decide to dry camp in a NFS campground, you will have to be careful.

Hi Nick,

Our dealer did a poor job explaining how to use the system. I'm trying to read through the Lippert Manual. Do you know which system is on the Sunset Trail trailers?

Ground Control 3.0? (that's what it says on my two rear jacks) thanks

Yes. 3.0. Our dealer was also vague on operation but it is easy. While the thing is levelling, i do the other hookups. Saves lots of time.

Have the 3.0 4-point system on our Canyon Trail. No clearance problems with the rear jacks in the three years of use.
