Ok, so I am at the FIL's place right now and am looking at the trailer awning. Unfortunately, it is at it's full height extension with reference to the "rain adjustments" and it appears that everything else is riveted in place so unless the dealer can do something it appears it is where it is and the only thing that will stop it from rubbing is a foam piece that can be added when the slide is out.

On the positive side, I now see how the gas shocks will assist with the rain which will be important as I will not be able to tilt it to the rear as one adjustment up puts allot of tension on the awning from the corner of the slide!!!!Edited by: Gsxrgrizz
