I stored my trailer inside for the winter but now that I have it home I'm thinking about getting a cover for the summer time to keep the sun and dirt off the trailer. I live on a dirt road and the dirt/dust is just piling up on the trailer. Front cap is covered with dirt and faces south with direct sunlight.

I've never had a cover with any of my other trailers so I'm look for advise on best brand to buy and if anyone that uses a cover has anything negative to share. Like do they rub the finish off the trailer or are they a nightmare to put on and take off?

Please share the good and the bad.

Thanks,
Rich

Covers seem to do more damage than good and are not recommended by most manufactures.

I'm not sure which manufacturers are not recommending RV covers, but I have seen owners manuals with "don't use a tarp!" warnings in them.

I cover mine over the winter with a ADCO cover. Since it's a 30' trailer, it's kind of a pain to put on by myself. My old 23' trailer was a lot easier due to the smaller size and weight of the cover.
