Fireplace Glass

The glass on the inside of my Therma Heat electric fireplace needs to be cleaned terribly bad but I do not see an easy way to get to it.

Has anyone actually cleaned it and if so, how did you do it?

My frame just snaps off. Then three screws on the bottom of the frame, holding the glass on. Lift up frame to access the glass.

For those who have the Therma Heat fireplace... mine is model FP26-01R.

I had to completely remove the unit.

The decorative frame lifts off (magnets holding it in place). 3 screws secure the unit to the opening, then 2 screws into the faceplate from the back.

I was able to angle the glass out far enough to clean it without removing the switch wiring.
