Has anyone noticed that the new Sunset Trails rolling out are much lower for tongue hitch hook up? Was this due to a safety issue?

it really doesn't matter what they list the dry tongue weight at as that number doesn't include propane, batteries, any options or cargo. The loaded tongue weight is what matters. The loaded tongue weight is ideally 13-15% of the loaded TT weight.Any lighter sets you up for a sway issue. The loaded pin weight on 5ers should also be a percentage of loaded 5 er weight but I'm not positive of the percentage numbers on that. My guess is the lighter dry number is a sales gimmick.
