Inside TV mount

We have a new ST270BH and would like to put a mount on the TV so that it will pull out a little. Has anyone replaced theirs? Even though the TV swivels, when you are sitting on the couch you can not see the entire screen unless you are sitting near the table.

I haven't but I don't see why you couldn't. I would use quaility part that it rated for a bigger tv than you have. I would also install a Velcro strap behind it and secure it for travel to keep it from moving around.

You could also pull the mounting bracket and pack it out with wood to get it more forward in the box if that is all you need. I would think you could go past flush without it hitting as it turned but you should Check before doing it.

We have noticed the same problem with the TV while sitting on the couch but don't plan to be watching a whole lot of TV so hoping we can forgo a mod.
