Leveling for towing

Hello all, new to the site.my question is, where is the best spot to check for level to determine coupler height? We just bought a 264bh and I'm trying to get my equalizer hitch set just right. Book says to measure at the corners of the frame, somewhere else suggests putting a level on the frame (which makes these two contradict). If I put a 4' level on the frame underneath my corner measurements are off and vise versa.
So, when setting up your sunset for towing, what is the best way to determine coupler height to begin your hitch set up? It tows decent now with minor porpoising, but I'm certain I can get it just a little better.
Thanks in advance

I wouldn't worry about measurements, just get it level on a relatively flat surface & get your hitch height.

I was told by the dealer service dept, measure from the ground to top of the hitch ball on your truck. This should be 23". This should make you run level.

I ran my Equal-I-Zer with two different trailers in the past. I would level the trailer, then measure from the ground to the top of the ball receiver. I'd then set the top of the ball on the hitch head to match that height. Works!
