I recently purchased a used 2008 Cross Roads Sunset Trail 26' with a 10 foot slide out. I have a manual crank handle but can not find the hole to insert it to manually open or close the slide. Can anyone tell me where it is?

Look on the opposite side of the rig from the slide in question. There will be a 1" hole for the crank. Use caution as the tee "pins" tend to break easily.

Is this hole in the side of the trailer or under it, in the wheel wells?

Every one I've seen is in the "side" of the trailer. Towards the bottom. Opposite/across from the slide out.

I've looked under the trailer on both sides. Under the trailer is completely sealed. Not even the frame is exposed. I'm going to feel real stupid when I do find it!

I have a 2013 26BH, it came with the Schwintek in-wall slide system. There is no manual crank option.

I believe the crank handles you are referring to are for the stabilizer jacks and the tongue jack.

We have a 2015 25RB. Our entry point is inside. When facing the slide, look in the upper middle if the woodwork. Probably six to eight inches down from the top of the top of the trim piece. Our unit is in storage, otherwise I would send you a picture. Good luck.

Do you have the cable driven slide out? If so, there is an access panel on the head rail of the slide out facia, and the trailer should have come with a 10 - 12" long, square drive. You attach that drive to your cordless drill and insert the square drive into the slide motor and run it that way.
