Out camping this past week and noticed a Maple Country TT camped next to us, exact same body as the Sunset TT's Looks like crossroads makes the Maple Country as well, wondering what the difference is with this model vs the Sunset Trails ?

I believe like the Crossroads Patriot is for USA and the Crossroads Provincial for Canada it is the Canadian version of the Sunset Trail.

Looks different to the hill country. Exact same look as the sunset trail but grey instead of brown. Also it has 2 slides one on each side, and appears to be a step up from the sunset. Crossroads website does not advertise it though which I found strange.

Not sure, but I just bought a Sunset Trail Reserve from my Canadian dealer. They were unaware of a Crossroads model called Maple Country, although it does have a Canadian ring to it.

I just "googled" maple country by crossroads and it popped up with Canadian dealers selling them. However it does not suprise me that other dealers know about them. RV dealers especially in my neck of the woods are not the greatest. I usually know more than any local salesmen when it comes to their own products.

It definately pays to do your homework and know more than the RV salesman. As often as not they are not well versed in thier products.
Most manufactures do build models to apeal to different sectors.

Western RV said CR made it special for them, talking to a CR rep he said " There are a few differences in standards and color but made in the same plant"
I looked at both , and the sunset trail is by far the better unit.

I think they did a special pkg for a Texas dealer too. Believe it was the Lone Star Pkg.

I was told by dealer when I bought mine that the 2014 models have a slides on both sides.

Yes, I do see on the CR website that the 2014's have significant floorplan changes. These trailers are like electronics, they are out of date the second you buy them..lol

If they are basically the same unit, why is the Sunset Trail "by far" a better unit?
