Regarding swapping the breakers as I suggested above. Only do this when the amperage is the same. You do not want to put something like the A/C that requires 20 amps on a 10 or 15 amp breaker. Also as the amperage goes up the wire size also gets larger. If you put wires intended for a 10 amp breaker on a 30 amp breaker for a 30 amp appliance you have created a fire hazard! This is the reason insurance companies do not want people using those round fuses we used when I was a kid anymore. They were all the same size and it was too easy to install the wrong amperage fuse in the wrong place.

Thanks matherne, I'll swap the breakers tomorrow. Tonight I have the fun of a leaking sink to deal with again :-(

The microwave issue sounds like you have a bad board or keypad. If so, you're probably better off replacing vs. fix unfortunately if you continue to have issues. I've seen these go for 100 bucks online. There really are no serviceable parts and a service call/inspection by a tech will cost you money to have someone tell you just that.

These are easy to replace/install if you buy the same model.
