New 2016 Sunset Trail Reserve picked up

Picked up our new unit yesterday, 2 hour walkthrough and couple more hours to process everything. Comments on the unit based on what I've read so far on this forum. Roof-noticed rubber membrane not adhered to roof deck at the front/trim piece. This was duly noted on the inspection sheet and will be corrected. Have one decal that is cracking, will be replaced. Had read of issues with the stabilizer jack switches, they now have guards on them and they are in the storage area. Would have placed them higher off the floor. Door to the bedroom needs to have something to keep handle from slamming into the wall and creating a hole. Would have been nice if the various switches at the control panel would have been labeled better, will use the trusty P-Touch. Not sure if the outside TV mount will work, looks like the cover for the electrical outlet may be in the way of a TV. While working the power awnings, noticed a power cable coming out of the channel and getting pinched while closing. Will have to look deeper into that. All in all the unit is in good shape and handled well on the road. Will do shakedown camping trip soon. Attached some pics of the switches, door handle, and rig.

Congratulations on the new unit. Sounds like you did a good job with the PDI. Enjoy the camper.

I put one of the spring type of door stops on the wall at the top of the bedroom door of my 5er. It works great to keep the handle from the wall.

Congrats on the unit. I have a 2013 ST32RL, one piece of advice. on my unit the sofa isn't mounted in place and can slide. My unit is currently in service for a failed slide motor on the driver side right by the sofa. I believe this might have been aggravated by the sofa impeding slide out travel due to it shifting in transit. Can't prove it but it might be cheap insurance to place a couple brackets on the inside of the frame out of sight

Welcome. Good luck on your shakedown trip. Make sure you try out everything on the rv to see that it works. Best of luck on your new Rv.

Well, discovered the outside TV mount is installed too close to the electrical and CATV port. With a 32" flat screen mounted you can't access the power or CATV port.
