No heat in bunkhouse

Have a 32bh sunrise trail. When heating system is working lots of heat coming out ducts in front bedroom and duct in kitchen but barely nothing coming out of bunkhouses duct. I have to use a space heater to heat that area of camper.

Mine is the same except it's barely coming from bedroom vent. I plan to change my vent covers with the metal ones you can get at Lowes Hardware. With those you can close the vent by a small wheel that you turn to close. By closing vents in certain areas it will force more air to the BH vent.

I think you should check the heat run using a flashlight and small swivel mirror, if necessary, to see if they are taped and secured to the floor register. If not get some duct tape and seal where required.

Sometimes the heat run it self is the culprit. They are not always taped at the joints.

I did what Papa-T said to do...I had to replace the original vent covers with the adjustable vent covers because it was hot in the bathroom and the bedroom but colder in the main living area...I also did what Lloyd suggested but I used aluminum tape...Much more sticky and does not break down as quickly as duct tape...

Or that might be what Lloyd was talking about...It is what the pros use on home heating ducts...

Duct tape for furnace heat runs is not the same as ---duck tape.

Mitten, we have a 32 BH also. Last season I never needed to run the heat but once and didn't notice any problems in the bunk house. But during spring start up this year is was chilly and noticed there was not much of a air flow from the rear vent. I took a few screws out of the bottom to look under the trailer for another reason but did notice a rip in the heat ducting going to the back vent. I ended up cutting an access hole to fix the rip with duct tape, while I was there I routed the duct better than they had it, it was kinked up. Heat to the bunk house was improved.
