No outside amber porch light?? 2018 262BH

Hi all,

I have searched all over the outside of my 262BH camper, and I cannot find the outside amber porch light.

Is it me, or do these campers not have a porch light?

If not, what are some ideas to put some light outside at night without having to keep the bright awning lights on all the time?

Thanks in advance

Probably a cost cutting idea not to have one .

If it doesn’t have a porch light, is there a light, maybe LED near or under the entry stairs? That’s what I have on mine. I miss the porch light, especially if the awning is in and I can’t use the LED under it.

An option is to put a strip light on the wall below the awning. Then you won't need to put the awning out for light. If you tap into the awning wiring, just disconnect the awning's light.

I personally never liked porch lights near the door. Just seems to draw bugs in and suck them in the camper when the door opens. I use the awning lights; at least it keeps them away from the door.
