Our ST 30RE has a coax connector located outside near the power cord (slide side). I haven't checked yet, but is this a cableTV connection in, or an antenna out connection. It is not marked. If not connected to the antenna, how can I hook up a TV outside using the digital antenna on the unit?

Thanks, Gary

This should be either a cable tv or sateliteinput. The other end it is located at your living room tv location. If you are staying at a park that has cable tv or if you have a satelite dish you would connect it there.

I have heard other people talking about running cables through the side of the slide seal flap to get that to feed to the outside or to run something to the inside. I am probably going to have to do the same thing at some point and have not figured it all out yet. I have been able to use that connection to get the satellite feed into the trailer.

I would put a huge guess that it is a cable input and will not work with a satellite wothout bypassing your booster in the trailer. There is a ton of conversations on here on how to do that. Try it first with your satellite and see what happens.

We carry a projector and screen with us for outside movies and sports. Have not had the time to do the modification to get that signal outside yet. Close, but not yet. Still working on getting the inside wired the way that I want it for the satellite. Should be done with that this week. They don't wire these things the way they should be for a lot of things.

Try hooking up a TV to the coax port on the outside and I bet if you have a picture on the inside TVyou will likely have a picture on the outside TV. Isn't it a closed loop of Coax? I may try it and let everyone know. Signals should feed up and down the line, right?
