Outside kitchen in ST270 BH

Hey Everyone,

Got back recently from a two week trip. The outside kitchen in my rig got bit wet from time to time while I was cooking (Rainy days). Now I'm noticing it's all swelled up and not looking too good around the edges. I'm wondering would that be covered under warranty or would they just say I shouldn't cook out in the rain! From everything I've heard about Crossroads they are pretty good about things in general so I was thinking I'm probably covered.

Thoughts?
Thanks,
Mike

Are you sure that your seal around the kitchen was not leaking, ours leaked some and needed to be replaced.

Don't know, maybe it was the seal. But the point is that the surface is starting to warp up because water got under it. I'm wondering if warranty is going to cover me here.

I think its poor engineering that they used a laminated wood counter on what is an exposed surface outdoors. Should have been a solid surface, moisture friendly counter top. I say go for it and see what happens. I had my counter replaced right away due to poor workmanship and it was a royal pain. Apparently no two are cut the same and 2 replacements would not fit properly.

It must have been due to the seal. It's not like anyone would cook in the rain and allow it to get wet.

I could see where they could view it in two entirely different ways.
1-- neglect on your part for improper maintenance.
2-- Defect on their part.
Lets hope it's looked at as the latter.
