We have recently purchased a ST31BH. The outdoor kitchen has a jack and outlet for a TV. I'm looking for a bracket so we can see it under the awning. Has anyone done this yet? I use a website called www.monoprice.com for a lot of my brackets, cables, etc. but I'm not sure what will work best. Any suggestions?

Just received the bracket today. It looks like it will fit perfect. It does have a little weight to it so I need to make sure I anchor it right. I'm really surprised no one has done this yet, I figured someone would have chimed in by now. At the moment I'm thinking of using large toggle bolts to hold the bracket on. Has anyone mounted a TV mount or anything substantial? Any suggestions better than toggle bolts let me know. I'll take pics of the install to post.

This is the mount extended so you can view it from under the awning. I posted more pictures under the mods section.

Looks very nice! My 32BH came with a mount on the outside wall of the trailer and a bracket that attaches to the back of a TV. Its a nice option, but I have to disconnect the TV and bring it inside each night. You just have to close and lock the outside kitchen. Nice upgrade!

I've often wondered what the difference is between my 32BH and a 31BH (besides one foot...lol). Guess the location of the outside cable hook up is one thing.

OK ours is the 32BH with shower and linen closet, nice mod to the kitchen, I do have the bracket on the wall under the awning. I wondered what that was for, so next question,...How big a tv can one mount on that?

A 32" is as big as I want to go due to the weight and the size. Much bigger than that and it would partially cover the exterior fridge access panel.

I was thinking Theatre night at the camp ground- lol seriously, I think 32 inch is plenty for the outdoor living room.

Thanks

While it would be cool to have a 32" or 42" hanging outdoor movie theatre, I wouldnt go larger than a 26-28" tv. I'd be concerned about the stress on the wall from the weight. At best that mount is tied into a 2x4 or 1x8.

It never ceases to amaze me how camping has changed. Years ago nobody ever thought about having a tv hung on the side of the tent.

We all went camping to go camping.

Years ago I did primitive camp...but now that I can afford this I have no desire to sleep in a tent. Having all the modern amenities doesn't make it any less of a camping trip...just have more options on those rainy days.

My family and I have had nearly as many enjoyable evenings around the fire watching a good scary movie as we have telling ghost stories. Its just one more way to enjoy being a family.
