Picked up our ST270BH today

Bought a 2016 ST270BH today. Walk though was long, 5+ hours. Tech did a good job of fixing all the little things we found wrong. Nicks in the wood, improper caulking, crooked cabinet door, nothing major. Everything seemed to work as expected.
While he was fixing things we had a pretty good down pour so i got to sit in the camper and check for leaks. None found.

Had a long trial and error process with the hitch though. They installed it according to Reeses instructions (I double checked) but the anti sway links were too close to the coupler. The bend in the WD bars doesnt sit in the right place.

A video on Etrailer shows a different length between the coupler and the anti sway. That set up would have worked. We couldn't move it because the kit only come with 4 of the hollow channel sleeves.

I'll call Reese on Monday, talk to them about it. Dealer said they'd move the brackets for me if I can get new sleeves.

Over all not a bad experience. Wife and I have spent the last 6 hours cleaning, loading, making beds. Added a Roku to the TV, changed the sound output to get tv audio over the speakers.

Long long day but shes loaded and ready to go!

Congrats Burgy! So far we have loved ours. There are some minor issues that will need to be fixed and my walk through was MUCH less thorough and timely but after several camping trips we are figuring things out.

I too would like to run my TV sound through the speakers, cant believe that is something we have to do and it is not just standard in campers???

But my Junkie Jensen is one of the things that appears to be on my fix it list. Welcome aboard and enjoy!

Jim

Congrats on your new rv. I hope you enjoys yours as much as we enjoy our Crossroads product.

For future reference, can you place your year and model in your signature, it will be a help to know what rv you have. (I know you stated it in your post)

Brought the new camper to Townsend TN to try it out. Set up was easier than the hybrid. Look forward to getting faster at it.

Finally got to unroll the awning. First off its white...yuck. And of course some of the LEDs are out. Nice.

The blinds behind the sink wont stay on the wall. There's some sort of clip system but I cant figure out how it works.

Hooked up the outdoor kitchen burners. Who designed this thing? Once you connect the hose you cant slide it back in? The connector is a PIA to get to and i have to unhook it when I'm done? Gotta be a way around that.

Congrats we really like ours. So far minor issues of which many I took care of myself. Makes sure you thoroughly check your seams, I found some that I needed to add sealant to.

Those kitchen blinds on the bottom have small bumps that you need to push in on each side. I usually take them off so I can raise those blinds but put them back for travel.

I have NOT used the burners outside yet, But I use the GRILL ALL the time!

Those aren't the issue. At the top, behind the black fancy cover there are 2 clips that hold the blinds on the wall. 1 has let the blind go and i cant figure out how to make it grab again.

My clips rotate, and lock the blinds from underneath. Find a little tab, looks like a swollen thumb. Pull it out, towards you. Should unclip. Push back in to clip.
